Hi! I’m Hailey Garza, a first-year student at the University of Florida and the Fisher School of Accounting, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a minor in Wealth Management. I am working toward earning my CPA license, with plans to pursue the 3/2 Masters of Accounting (MAcc) program. My goal is to leverage my skills and education to help others achieve their financial objectives.As a proud first-generation college student, I am honored to be part of the Machen Florida Opportunity Scholarship (MFOS) and First Generation Business Leaders (FGBL), where I actively participate in the Pathways Initiative Program. In high school, I graduated at the top of my class and served as the Parliamentary Representative of the Academy of Finance. As a member of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), I won state competitions with my team, and I was also a dedicated member of the National Honor Society.Currently, I am an alumna of the Take Stock in Children program, in which I was chosen as Take Stock Outstanding Senior from the Take Stock in Children program of Alachua County. I am excited to explore both academic and professional opportunities.
