- Lead a department of 8 individuals who oversee their own accounts / customers, while also maintaining a small desk of accounts that include responsibilities outlined in the Customer Account Specialist position- Assist all departments with troubleshooting program and application issues- Guide individuals with everyday problem solving while still empowering them to make their own decisions- Continuously look for ways to streamline department processes that will (ideally) benefit all parties- Support growth within my department to help ensure we always provide the customer with a strong customer service experience

- Work closely with our freight forwarder to help ensure ocean and air shipments move as scheduled- Liaison between freight forwarder and vendor, customer service and sales departments- Ensure import paperwork is accurate for customs clearance- Capture certain pieces of freight data necessary for department reporting - Check freight forwarder invoice paperwork for accuracy before passing on to accounting and customer service- Track shipments proactively, and make every effort to investigate any anomalies before they become an issue

- Liaison between sales, customers, vendors, management and prospects- Enter all orders for assigned sales representative(s)- Track all orders from inception to delivery, handling any obstacles in between. - Maintain positive customer relations through phone calls & emails, with the periodic face to face meeting- Tracking inventories and hot sheets on a weekly basis- Coordinating all artwork communications between the customer, vendor, and designer- Maintaining consignment and extended inventories on a monthly basis as needed- Researching and resolving all inventory and invoice discrepancies- Managing all inventory levels for assigned sales representatives and informing them when reorder is necessary for any VMI accounts- Demonstrating knowledge of policies, procedures, practices and resources to enhance the efficiency of the company
