While it may have been my dad who handed me "Start With Why" by Simon Sinek and "The Difference Maker" by John C. Maxwell, those books inspired me at a young age to start to understand and develop my leadership and communication skills. I am a proud Michigan State University graduate and obtained my Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Manufacturing Engineering. I was the Operations Manager of the Michigan State Formula Racing Team. I aided in connecting with sponsors, expanding school and community outreach, improving social media presence, and writing the team's monthly newsletter: The Spartan Racer. As I learned how to integrate both business and engineering, I work with my team to pursue our objective of "Engineering a Legacy." Being a member of the Alpha Alpha Chapter of Kappa Delta, I had the opportunity to engage in impactful community service by supporting the sorority's mission of being a mentor for young girls. This membership granted me the hands-on experience of working with our Philanthropic partners, Prevent Child Abuse America and Girl Scouts of America, in order to build courage, confidence and character in girls.
