Like most people who are likely stumbling across my profile, I have had many experiences with individuals struggling with mental health challenges. Addiction, depression, and many other ailments plague modern society. As a psychology researcher, I seek answers in prevention rather than treatment. While I am grateful for the many strides researchers have taken in recent years to develop treatments for mental health challenges, I believe that greater research into preventative methods would be beneficial both to society as a whole and the individuals being inflicted with such challenges. It is my life goal to aid in the development of preventative policies and practices that will lead to societal betterment.
