• Design creative, modern logos for a variety of events, commissions, and departments• Edit and update the City of Livonia website for upcoming events, new information, and outdated layouts• Create promotional posters for various events held around the city in places such as the Greenmead Historical Park, the Livonia Recreation Center, the Livonia Civic Library, and more• Work with other team members to create social media posts and advertisements to promote upcoming events and activities happening around the city

- In charge of developing the visual layout of the magazine for print/digital using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator- Assist in paginating each issue for print/digital and conduct editing and proofreading using Adobe Acrobat to maintain a consistent, quality publication- Make edits to any promotional or informational materials the magazine uses for media and sponsors using Adobe Acrobat- Develop and design promotional social media posts for the editor-in-chief's Instagram page for each issue's release using Adobe Photoshop- Maintain the aesthetic layout of pages to accentuate the brand's character to best appeal to sponsors and readers- Able to maintain multiple projects on time while working remotely in a different timezone

- Monitor the lifeguards and ensure that guests follow the posted rules and regulations of the aquatic facility- Understand the proper opening and closing procedures for the facility including testing pool chemicals, sending lifeguards to their designated posts, and looking over the day's programming- Aid in the maintenance of the pump room and maintain proper water chemistry throughout the day- Assist in conflict resolution with lifeguards, patrons, and building staff- Trained and maintained an emergency response team of up to 10 staff members at a time- Facilitated communication practices to ensure patron and employee safety at each aquatic facility
