My name is Hailey SySantos, and I am aspiring to be a Medical Device Researcher with two years of experience in the field of Biology. I am currently studying Biology at Drexel University, where I plan to graduate in 2028.As someone who desires to work in the Medical Device Research field, I have been developing my research skill set through laboratory courses over the past two years. Courses such as Cells and Biomolecules, Physiology and Ecology, and General Chemistry I-III have allowed me to work in professional lab settings and develop the skills I need to excel in the field of Research. For example, I am able to properly maintain logs and evaluations, perform standard tests, and calibrate and operate equipment. Over time, I have refined my abilities to communicate with my peers, manage time appropriately, and to pay attention to important details. Additionally, my dexterity, organizational, and analytical skills continue to develop as I spend more hours in the lab. After graduation, I will work toward joining a larger medical device research company as a bioengineer, with hopes to becoming a part of medical device clinical trials. I aspire to create endoscopic devices that will make surgery an easier experience for patients. Further into my career, I would like to pivot into Medical Device Sales where I will ultimately use my experience from Medical Device Research to become a top saleswoman at a company like Abbott or Boston Scientific.
