Involved in expanding client base in Manitoba following a successful pilot project. Also involved in the development of a structured maintenance plan for dynamic GIS datasets. Daily tasks include the development and maintenance of spatial data, software support, and working with software developer to facilitate client-driven improvement.

Worked as part of the WeatherFarm team to market the benefits of a high density weather network for agricultural production. Also interacted with several stakeholders to ensure the integrity of the network. Daily tasks involved in the installation, maintenance and retrofit of weather and soil moisture stations across Manitoba, along with troubleshooting technical issues to ensure online data transmission. Also involved in a data quality study which involved the collection and analyis of several weather parameters.

Conducted Dutch Elm Disease (DED) surveillance throughout southern Manitoba. Daily tasks included sampling, recording and mapping infected trees for removal, conducting river bank surveys, and informing home-owners about Dutch Elm Disease and general tree health. Also involved in a shelter belt species inventory, and the accessment of pest related defoliation of coniferous tree samples
