My name is Hailey Hamilton, and I am studying Business Management at Brigham Young University.I am set to graduate in April of 2026.I plan to further my education by attending dental school after graduation.I have three skills that I have developed that I believe would make me an excellent candidate.- Attention to detail:- Demonstrated while working as a hygiene assistant when I reviewed 80 treatment plans daily to reduce errors by 20%, and when I worked in childcare and improved protective measures to reduce accidents by 10%.- Cultural and Emotional Literacy:- Displayed this while volunteering in Mexico when I taught English to 15+ native students and saw a 45% increase in their ability to communicate in their target language, and when I was president of an organization called Active Minds in college that focused on the mental health of students.I was able to facilitate programs and provide resources for students searching for ways to aid their mental health and saw a 100% increase in membership.Initiative:- Expressed this while working in the dental field by standardizing layout in 5 treatment rooms to increase workstation efficiency by 20%.I also demonstrated an ability to take initiative when I founded an organization called Youth Political Action Committee, which educated students about current political events so they could make an informed decision in elections, and we saw a 25% increase in young, first-time voter knowledge and confidence.
