I am a Spring 2023 graduate of Florida Gulf Coast University with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. In these programs, I not only studied the ins and outs of the criminal justice system, but also gained crucial skills in relation to writing, research, and analysis. I have taken courses relevant to the intelligence/crime analysis field, including an introduction to intelligence analysis and criminal justice data analysis.I have been involved in various extracurricular activities throughout my college experience. I was the Chapter President of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars for two years at Florida Gulf Coast University. I am a member of many honors societies including the National Society for Collegiate Scholars, Omicron Delta Kappa, and Golden Key International. I have experience with diverse populations through volunteer work with students with disabilities in high school and college. This includes the Two Schools One Home program and Knight's Exemplar at the University of Central Florida.I served as a history intern for a faculty member at Florida Gulf Coast University during the Spring 2022 semester. In this role, I analyzed and digitized various sources from the island of Upper Captiva, FL. I was responsible for the scanning of these documents, creating metadata in relation to these documents, and preparing them for upload to the online archive. This has since been published to the DIGITALFGCU archive. I am also awaiting publication through the University of Central Florida Veteran's Legacy Project.I served as an intern at Lee County Sheriff’s Office. In this position I earned essential knowledge of law enforcement agencies. also strengthened skills in analysis, critical thinking, and attention to detail. Here I took part in social media analysis to assist in ongoing investigations and compiled a short brief at the end of the day. This brief was then sent to command. Due to my performance as an intern, I was hired on full time at Lee County Sheriff’s Office as a Crime Analyst. Here I have continued to build the skills I developed through academics and learn the ins and outs of Crime and Intelligence Analysis.
