I grew up in Hortonville, WI and graduated from Hortonville High School. While in high school I was given the opportunity called "youth options" since I had most of my high school credits completed by Junior year. "Youth options" allowed me to leave half way through the day and take classes at Fox Valley Technical College where I obtained my technical diploma in certified nursing assistant. I then moved to Wisconsin Rapids, WI to continue my education and obtain my technical diploma in surgical technology. I obtained a job at Marshfield Clinic as a surgical technologist where I would work as an assistant in the clinic and operating room. During my time working there I realized how much I enjoyed my time in the clinic examining patients, scribing notes, scheduling tests and appointments. Although the majority of my experience is medical, I am adept in technology and have decided to pursue an administrative career for personal and professional benefit. I am expanding my knowledge by currently pursuing an associate’s degree in health information management.
