As a Manager of Crisis Services and Operations at Response Crisis Center, I oversee daily operations and quality assurance of the crisis hotline and chat services, ensuring that our dedicated counselors have the tools they need to provide compassionate and effective support to individuals in emotional distress. I also work as a Social Work Intern at Harborfields Central School District, where I assist K-2 students and their families with various academic, social, and emotional needs. As of May 2024 I completed my Master of Social Work degree at Stony Brook University School of Social Welfare. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Stony Brook University, and I have over a year of experience in crisis counseling, mental health counseling, and crisis intervention. My core competencies include interpersonal skills, communication skills, problem-solving skills, and empathy. I am passionate about helping people cope with challenges and improve their well-being, and I am committed to the mission and values of Response Crisis Center— to provide those in need of support with unconditional acceptance, compassion, and respect.
