At Mississippi Power, my role as a Power Delivery Tech Support Intern involves leveraging Oracle SQL and Power BI to create dynamic data queries and visualizations that support the organization's power delivery services. - Completed a total of 8,122 FAES forms over the past two summers, ranging from forms 87626 to 90049.- Edited and updated the MPC GIS STATS Power BI dashboard.- Configured the Outages Dashboard, implementing dynamic Power BI measures to filter and calculate KPIs such as total customers active, percentage restored, total customers experiencing outages, total customers restored, total active events, and total outages.- Adjusted the dashboard to incorporate user-selected date ranges and specific hourly intervals.- Created and refined DAX measures to dynamically respond to date and time slicer selections.- Developed and published the Poles and Attachments dashboard, including creating and verifying SQL queries in Oracle SQL Developer.- Analyzed data from Microsoft Access files and translated SQL queries to run in Oracle SQL Developer.- Created various queries for Company Solar kW Total, Division Sub and Feeder, kW Total by Feeder, OH Miles, UG Miles, and more.- Studied for and prepared to take the PL 300 exam, utilizing various study guides and practice assessments.- Worked on JETS work orders and GIS-related projects with ArcGIS Pro.- Assisted with updating SharePoint links for the Tool Kit page in the TSO and TCC Procedure and Review Log.- Explored new dashboard projects and personal projects, uploading them to GitHub.- Verified and ensured the accuracy of various data sources and configurations.- Engaged in continuous learning and skill development through various online platforms.
