Thesis grade: 12/12In this thesis project, I showcased the effectiveness of heuristic optimization techniques as a cost-efficient solution to improve passenger transfer waiting time in public transport. During the thesis journey, I gained valuable insights into the practical application of advanced optimization techniques, starting from structuring raw transport data, through formulating and implementing mathematical models, to designing and executing heuristic optimization methods. Through the practical experience, I developed a comprehensive understanding of real-life applications of advanced optimization techniques.

I got a taste of Danish work culture and practices in a consulting firm like BCG, from regularly attending mentoring sessions at my mentor's company. I learned from my mentor's professional habits, approaches to problem-solving, time management techniques, organizational skills, and effective communication strategies. I also gained valuable insights from her guidance and sharing of her own career journey, including the right attitudes and mindsets in the early stages of a career, the significance of building strong relationships, and the development of leadership skills.

Through the GCCP 14 program, I gained the tools and knowledge needed to pursue a professional life in Denmark. From a personality test, through participating LinkedIn and phone call workshops, to various networking opportunities and career mentorship, this program transformed how I think the Danish work culture, equipping me with the necessary skills to thrive in a professional environment in Denmark.

I worked as a Teaching Assistant (TA) for a DTU MSc course – 42429 Project Management. A record number of students (445) have signed up for this course that took place in a hybrid teaching mode, including physical, online and flipped classrooms from August 1st to 19th, 2022.• Assisted in designing, running, and organizing the course• Managed 55+ students from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds to develop their project management skills
