I have dual board certification in Adult Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and have specific expertise in women's and maternal mental health. I have worked in a broad range of clinical settings from academic, to non-profit, to large hospital systems and governmental systems. I have presented at national and international level conferences. I am actively involved in organized medicine at the local, state and national level, and have a strong interest in policy. I am a trained biomedical engineer and epidemiologist, and I blend this analytical bent with a strong interest in social good and public health. Outside of my day-job as a psychiatrist, I like to nerd out by thinking about the nuts and bolts of health care delivery and quality improvement processes, how people function within organizations, and how to enact systems-level changes within healthcare.
