The profit is calculated by combining components including net interchange generated from spending behavior, interest from revolving balance amount and loss from bust-out accounts, etc. Project: Credit card underwriting Client: A major bank in the United States The project helps decide whether or not to issue a credit card to an applicant by assigning a risk score based on credit bureau attributes. We achieved better model performance when comparing our score with the competitor’s and we produced considerable amount of swap-in benefit for our client.
