Responsible for provision of technical support to Senior Health Coordinator and country nutrition coordinator in preparation of behavior change communication strategies for effective implementation of project activities with maximum input from local communities with increased ownership of program at community level. Building project and Government staff capacities through budgeted trainings on PHC, Nutrition and WASH, carrying out monitoring, on-job staff mentoring and serving as first point of contact with communities for integration of their feedback for services improvement. Developing and disseminating IEC materials in local contexts on Health, Nutrition and WASH with tested messages for community awareness and sensitization, forming and training community health committees and mother support groups at community level to make sure maximum participation of community in project implementation and in quality improvement. Monitoring and supervising nutrition, para medical & health promotion teams, periodic screenings through MUAC, client exit interviews/client satisfaction surveys to implement greater accountability of Merlin to project beneficiaries and communities
