After founding iKup in 2004 the Verlag Dashöfer invested into the auction side in 2005. In 2006 iKup was with nearly 100.000 registered users the leader in the Czech Republic as an online auction platform. In 2007 more companies invested into the Czech auction market and it was obvious that the market will not be large enough to be highly profitable providing auction services on a provision base. We rightfully stopped further investments in the company.

STM acquired RKK/Veridiom in 2001. The Czech core team of RKK continued to develop Biometric technology now for ST Microelectronics together with the group in Berkeley, Cal.. As the Managing Director of STM in Prague I was responsible for the Future Product management and the Sales and Marketing of Biometric Products in Europe. Parallel to the Biometric Team STM started the initial cell for the ST design and development to become over 200 developers in Prague with my support.

RKK was founded 1994 by RKK Hamburg and myself as a development company to be specialized in Biometrics and Cryptography. We realized security solutions for Lufthansa, Commerzbank, Dresdner Bank, Police in Hamburg and Bremen, US Senate, Czech Control Ministry, Mobile Phone provider and many more international companies. The core team in Prague, that was build up till the year 2000, was merged and acquired over time by several companies including STMicroelectronics in 2001 and Apple Inc. in 2013.

After the merger of RKK, Skytale and Veridicom I became the Vice President at Veridcom for Europe. My responsibility was in Prague, as the General Manager, to organize the product research and development and in Hamburg, as the General Manager, to head the European Sales and Marketing team.

Beside the standard tasks in the "busy season", I was 2 years a member of the "PDS" team that worked in the special project at the Treuhandanstalt called "Sondervermögen". This team examined the assets of the former East German State Party SED. That was a very interesting and fun job in exciting times.
