I used to be a card carrying, personal development junky, who kept on jumping on & off the bandwagon. Searching for the better version of myself. Struggling in the pursuit of goals & dreams. As if I was pushing a boulder up hill. When the good times where in flow, I'd be waiting for when the sh@t was going to hit the fan and it usually did.Living up to other peoples and my own expectations, was tiring. Not all the time, but most of the time. Looking back, I didn't show it outwardly.Deep down, deep within my conditioning, hidden, rearing its head now & again, was some flavour of ... I'm not good enough ... If you want something in life, it's going to be hard work ...I was a champion overthinker & stresser.Easily getting overwhelmed, along with feelings anxiousness.I wasn't like that every single minute of the day, but most of the time. Doing a great job in hiding it from others, apart from those close to me, they just had the uncanny ability to see beyond the mask.I saw myself & believed myself to be ...Someone who was too damn serious (especially with life).Someone who deserved better, who just couldn't hit the pinnacle of mountain.Someone who, just went through life with a stick up his butt lol. When people banged on about "Know Thy Self", that was me.Until one day, everything changed. I heard a voice in my head saying .... "That's not you, that's your thinking, about who you think you are."
