First I started as a Production Manager in 1998, until upper management changed in 2001. New management assigned Engineering and planning departments to me. During my employment in FTC, I prepared quotations, applied process requirements with plant facilities and make time study to ship in timely manner, costing studies (but it was actual costing using MRP computer software), prepared proper specifications according to customer requirements. And I was responded to prepare all daily, weekly and monthly reports to our major company in USA. Every Fridays I was shared key points of week issues with conference call with my boss in USA.Our ambition was to be an approved supplier in Turkey for GENERAL ELECTRIC. This required mandatory implementation of G.E. ‘s quality systems. We successfully implemented all the required quality systems to our company. G.E. audited and approved it. This result made me feels especially proud because in Turkey following TEI (TUSAS ENGINE INDUSTRY) and H.İ.B.M (AIRFORCE) we as FTC were 3rd company to be an approved supplier by G.E. We were enlisted in G.E. ‘s supplier list (yellow pages). Upon approval we were manufacturing and trading to G.E. in the USA. Subsequent approval of other aviation companies followed the G.E. approval. Companies were like SCORSKY, BOING, and LOCKHEAD MARTIN. -Towards the end of year 2001 American employers sold out to the French. We moved to a three times bigger building, manufacturing capacity tripled by receiving orders from France.-Finally French managers replaced the team of FTC management including myself. Show less

Axle projects for European, Asia countries and USA was part of my assignment; involving design, production and application on vehicles. Coordinated with customers. Provided technical support, responded to customer requirements and design change in timely manner. During my employment with Ege Industry the major project was Iran-VAMCO approximate value of $5.000.000. This project was to supply complete front and rear axles to 7 Iran automotive companies manufacturing commercial vehicles. Although Ege Industry was the primary owner of this project, a business agreement was made with ALBION company situated in England as supplier of the rear axle differential unit. I was directly involved in all the related agreements in this business relationship. We separated the axle into two groups. 1st group light trade vehicles and 2nd group heavy trade vehicles. Together with ALBION company we completed the designs in 4 months work was carried out within England & Turkey. When we reached the stage of manufacturing the prototype we realized that EGE ENDÜSTRİ didn’t have the fundamentals for such a major project. So I set up a process-engineering department. We manufactured the prototypes of 1st group with in the structure of this department. We tested the prototypes at LTC (Leyland Technical Center) in Manchester England.Affirmative results were obtained which enabled me to take the 1st group of light vehicle axles to Iran and conduct on vehicle application. I obtained approval for the 1st group from companies in Iran. Overall I made over 15-business trip to England and over 15 trips to Iran. After completion of the 1st group project I had the compulsion to leave the company. Show less

I was challenged because I had to learn more than I was educated at University I was ambitious to build my future career. During my working BMC Company had got very good business and made investments on CNC machines in machining department. This was my opportunity because I was directly involved in all investments. After installations, machines were scheduled to work full time. I prepared lots of CNC programs according to production planning’s and loaded them into all machines.-My responsibilities consisted of managing all employees and meeting production planned goals, interfaced with engineering operations, supplier and support organizations, to optimize product and process design and improvements.-I was claimed to be the owner of my company, that is the reason why I was worried of customer complaints during my work in BMC. My additional responsibility was to analyze and report customer complaints to solve all problems.-After five years working for BMC, I had doubts and concern about my career and the opportunities BMC had to offer so I resigned in 1995.
