Hakan Dogan was born in Istanbul, Turkey, in 1979. He received the B.S.E in Electronics Engineering in 2001, and the M.S.E. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Electronics Engineering in 2003 and 2007, respectively, all from the Istanbul University. He worked as an academician at Istanbul University from 2001 to 2016. He was a visiting scholar at the Purdue University, Fort Wayne and S. Toraighrov Pavlodar State University in 2010 and 2013 respectively. He also joined ERASMUS Staff Mobility Programs at University of Orleans and University of Debrecen in 2011 and 2013 respectively. His interests lie in the areas of advanced signal processing and algorithms. During this period, he published 17 SCI papers in well-known journals and joined in 19 international conferences. Moreover, he worked in 5 different projects (two of them are supported by European Commission). In industrial applications, he published the US patent when he worked as a consultant for a US company (DIGITAL POWERRADIO, LLC).After 2021, he decided to apply his experience and skills in the retail industry as a data analyst and manager. Currently, he works on demand planning, automatic ordering and various optimizations in sales operation management processes.
