I’m a solution & software architect and polyglot developer living in Istanbul, Turkey. I have more than 30 years of experience creating software solutions for different sectors such as manufacturing, energy, hospitality, retail, advertisement and financial services.While creating these solutions, I’ve used the latest and most appropriate languages, frameworks and tools suitable for the requirements. I don’t subscribe to one size fits all or what we already know is the best school of thoughts, at all. I research, learn, and use what is most suitable for the task at hand.I've been concentrating my efforts at the backend (for about 10 years with .NET and .NET Core (when it became available)) for batch processing, 3rd party integrations (SAP, SalesForce, VPOS systems, BKM, Payment Facilitators, Meal Card Providers etc), RESTful WEB APIs for mobile and Web frontends etc., covering all bases, such as Feature completeness, Feature correctness, Robustness, Resilience, Testability (Unit, Integration, Functional), Maintainability, Usability, Security, Performance, Localisation, Database independence, Logging, Health checks, Telemetry, Observability and Analytics.I love challenges and continuously learning new technologies and applying them in my work. I’m quite easy to go along, outgoing, helpful and social. I love working with people who are committed and passionate about creating the best possible solutions they can, and aim to continuously improve themselves. From a cultural standpoint, I have a Western lifestyle (like a lot of Istanbul residents) and a humanist outlook. While I continued to actively develop software, I've also served in different managerial technical positions such as Team Lead, Software Project Manager, R&D Manager, Information Technologies Director etc.I’m looking forward to learn more, create more, share more. I believe knowledge is one of the very few things that grow by sharing. I love teaching and coaching almost just as much as I like learning.
