The Metro Project, carried out by the Expolink construction consortium (Alstom, ACCIONA andGulemark), consists of a 15km-long line, of which 11.8km is above ground and 3.2km underground, andan interchange on the Red Line at Nakheel Harbour and Tower. The extension of the metro will have seven stations including the Nakheel Harbour interchange and the flagship metro station at the Expo exhibition site.Responsibilities:- Responsible for the inspection and supervision of all utilities and underground services, lootah gas, irrigation lines, DEWA, DM, ETC, Du, military and RTA services.- Dewa cables , 132kv ,11kv cables , Dewa water lines, doing temporary and permanent road work- Waterlines, irrigation lines and severage line shutdowns and diversions- Following up and getting verifications from authorities (DEWA, RTA, Gas, Empower, Tabreed, Nakheel)- Doing dewatering, excavations and shoring works- Doing piling and sheet piling activities- Live road crossings for underground services (open cut)- Lifting activities- Temporary and permanent road diversions- Supervision of subcontractors- Supervision of subcontractors- Tested soils and materials to determine foundation strength.- Doing road works including marking and signage- Consistently adhered to quality expectations and standards.
