Senior Software EngineerSpacemetric Ab Jan 2012 - Apr 2021Stockholm Area, SwedenSenior software engineer Spacemetric AB, current position. I implemented dense image matching, which generates 3D point clouds and Digital Surface Models (DSM:s) from aerial and satellite images. This is a plugin to our Keystone software, but is also licensed to Harris, which has integrated it into their popular ENVI software. In Sweden, e.g. Foran uses the dense matching to generate several hundreds of Tb 3D point clouds from National Land Surveys aerial images for forestry applications. I have implemented a free net block adjustment, i.e. estimation of sensor orientation parameters without requirements on ground control points. I am one of two inventors of Spacetime, a method and system to generate 3D models of moving objects in near real time from two or more drone videos. A US Patent has been applied for the method.I was technical lead and main implementor of BlueStone, an innovation to downlink overview scenes from satellites for automatic and manual evaluation, while full resolution scenes are only downlinked on request to save bandwidth. A US Patent is pending for BlueStone, which was developed in cooperation with ÅAC Microtec. -

ReVisitor also developed CityModeler, a program for semi automatic 3D measurements in satellite images. CityModeler is used by e.g. International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) for monitoring nuclear plants all over the world. ReVisitor was one of ten finalists in Venture Cup for an idea to convert plan drawings and images to 3D models for the real estate industry. Other customers include Blom AS (now Terratec) Only some CityModeler support from 2012.

OCR and ICR (intelligent character recognition, i.e. handwritten text recognition). Developed a feature for the Spanish drivers license authority to analyze and adjust drivers license photographs, e.g. tone adjust, remove background color, align rotated images.Implemented color separation for interpretation of e.g. stamps on Chinese invoices, which at the time were particularly complicated with many stamps in different colors and where the text in the stamps needed to be interpreted as well.Implemented a bag-of-words classifier using Support Vector Machines (SVM).100% until last couple of years when I worked 80% Readsoft and 20% ReVisitor. -
