Payment Systems Policy Department 1. Developed dual-expertise in large value payment system (LVPS) and retail payment system. 2. Managed the RM5 million budget, 10-person manpower, governance and timeline n establishing the world's first third backup site for Malaysia's LVPS (RENTAS). 3. Facilitated the efforts to increase the rate of e-payment usage and acceptance in Malaysia, including the migration of Malaysian cardholders from signature-based payment card to PIN-based cards, deployment of contactless cards and media liaison for awareness and promotional campaigns. 4. Lead officer for the National e-Payment Roadshow 2015-2017 and worked directly under the supervision of the then Assistant Governor (Mr.) Tan Nyat Chuan. Main responsibility included developing the curriculum and media liaison to increase the awareness and take up of e-payments among Malaysian corporates, SMEs and individuals. Coordinated with the media, merchant, consumer and banking associations and 20 financial institutions to organise township campaigns across all states in Malaysia.
