TrønderEnergi Elektro AS is Trøndelag's largest supplier of outdoor lighting for roads, parks and yards. TrønderEnergi Elektro AS also delivers installation of cables, substations and powerlines, at all voltage levels. Company is of January 2017 merged with Elnett Energi As and the merged company is renamed to ON Energi AS.

The core competence of TDA is steel design based on advanced hydrodynamic and structural analysis of complex and analysis intensive structures and operations.TDA sold to COWI december 2015.

Owec Tower AS holds a world leading technology and special competence on foundations for Offshore wind turbines since 2001. OwecTower AS has installed its OWEC Quattropod at several European offshore wind farms. The jackets are tailored for larger turbines and deeper waters.Owec Tower AS was sold to Keppel Corporation in Singapore.

Norwind Installer specialized in offshore foundation installations for wind and tidal energy turbines. Norwind Installer also developed its own heavy lift vessel. Trønderenergi divested from NWI in 2015.

Biokraft Marin AS established a factory in Agdenes Sor-Trondelag, which became operational in 2011. In addition, we established two transport vessels, the Biotrans and Akvatrans in traffic along the Norwegian coast for collecting by-products from the Norwegian fish farms. After treatment of the biomass, the company sold extracted renewable bio-oil.Biokraft Marin AS was sold to Scanbio Marine Group in 2013.

Hydroenergi was a Norwegian hydropower equipment company. Hydroenenergi suffered several project and pipeline delays both in the domestic marked and abroad. Ultimately bancruptcy was declared and 25 people lost their job.
