Center Assistants are an integral part of any Kumon Center and play an important role in center operations and developing our Kumon Students. Unlike tutoring, this support is offered on an as-needed basis to encourage students to find the answers independently. They provide hints to guide students through their work and help keep them motivated. Center Assistants work specifically with Early Learner students who have particular needs and are still learning basic skills. Grade both student homework and classwork. They also help record student results so that the Instructor can focus on tracking student progress, refining lesson plans, and setting goals.
