Negotiated more than 150 personal computers purchases at savings exceeding 50% over similar equipment. Negotiated an AS/400 maintenance contract resulting in a reduction of more that 50% in cost over an equivalent contract. Managed the upgrade of the CAD/CAM hardware from Apollo DN3500 workstations to HP 700 series workstations resulting in a four-fold power improvement at an annual savings of $74,000. Wrote MIS software development procedures, department procedures, and a disaster plan in support of ISO 9000 certification. Established IT work schedules to support key corporate projects.
