Research Manager for the Global Parenting Initiative's playful parenting work in Malaysia. I coordinate the evaluation of a hybrid digital and in-person version of a Parenting for Lifelong Health intervention aimed at supporting positive parenting, learning through play, and child educational outcomes when embedded within a national government education system for low-income families. As well as evaluating the programme, we are optimising its effectiveness and scalability in preparation for roll-out in collaboration with two government ministries following its evaluation.

I worked the writing and development of projects and partnerships - primarily under the Erasmus+, AMIF, Horizon, and CERV programmes. More specifically, I carried out the writing of project applications, and collaboration with current and potential partners.I also oversaw the implementation of some projects, and collaborated with the implementation department at CEIPES in a primarily advisory capacity.

I worked as a Project Manager for projects focussing on Youth Work, Youth Education, Adult Education, and Vocational Training.Working with diverse innovative methods to address social issues - including gamification, theatre, digital educational tools, and psycho-social interventions. I also conducted research on, for example, youth workers experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic, and European adults' mental health during and after lockdowns.Other issues being addressed in the projects ranged from bullying to media literacy, social exclusion, online education, low-skilled adult education, youth empowerment, and discrimination against those with disabilities. Responsibilities included working with international partners, overseeing project planning and activities, managing budgets, participating in and conducting training activities, workshops and events, managing social media and dissemination, conducting research, writing reports, collaborating with stakeholders, and monitoring and evaluating project results.

Using the Global Ratings of Mother-Infant Interaction at 2 and 4 months old coding/scoring scheme, as well as a coding/scoring scheme I developed to assess parent-child interaction in a challenging situation, I assessed data taken from a study carried out from 2016-2019 in Touwsranten, South Africa, under the supervision of Prof. Cathy Ward. This entailed organising the video data, scoring video-taped parent-child interactions according to criteria specified in the schemes, and conducting basic statistical analyses for reliability.
