I have 16 years of experience as a EE, 15 years of experience as a Systems Engineer working in the defense industry. Most of my work has been with targeting systems using IR camera's behind custom telescopes on stabilized platforms to identify and target items 5 to 10 miles away. I have also worked on missile defense systems, guided rockets, and communication systems. I've developed short wave, mid-wave, and longwave IR camera systems and communication systems to connect mobile components of a missile defense system. I've defined the architecture for the sensors used as part of the mission equipment installed on military aircraft. I've worked as an individual contributor, led small 4 to 5 person development teams and a 50 person functional team. I've been a mentor and have been mentored and enjoy that style of learning. I'm looking for an opportunity to contribute to a team focused on delivering the next generation capabilities to our war-fighters.
