I have returned to ZirMed as an ICD-10 Consultant (Part Time - Temporary - Remote from Connecticut). This position will entail accepting calls from medical practitioners, billing services and the like to assist them through the claim resolution process while they become familiar with their responsibilities utilizing ICD-10 Diagnosis Codes associated with the health care claims they submit to payers.Recognizing that the roll-out of ICD-10 into the medical billing community will likely cause a significant increase in Client Support calls for ZirMed, the Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management company, I contacted my former management to offer my services in Client Support during that critical time. Having an additional, experienced agent on the phones was appealing to them and they accepted my proposal.This will be a temporary assignment until call volume returns to near normal. Then I will return to my Retired life, which by that time will include being a licensed Realtor.

Work directly with Medical Billing Professionals to resolve technical and procedural issues they encounter while submitting health care claims to health insurance companies. By remaining abreast of the regulatory (including ICD-10) and technical aspects (including EDI X12) of health care claim submissions and applying the unique solutions of the ZirMed software suite, I am able to quickly ascertain the client's needs and guide them to solution.Highly regarded by my more frequent callers, I am able to assure timely resolution with a personal touch. Client-focused relationship manager between Hewlett-Packard and major telecommunications company and other industries. Often imbedded in the client site, provided consultitive support for: Process improvement activities such as change management; hardware and software procurement, installation and maintenance; direct interface with HP client support and HP service desk functions; all aspects of sales support.Utilizing IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes, conducted process improvement assessments and workshops for major telecom clients, vairous hospital chains, mulitinational healthcare organiztions and HP sales channel partners.Headed area-wide effort to increase delivery to contract specifications, resulting in a four-fold increase in service delivery without any increase in manning. Coupled with that effort served as co-chair of a North American virtual team with the same charter for all areas in the North American region.
