Accomplishment - LEAD Engineer for the Single Point Vulnerability (SPV) Review at Surry Power Station supervising a team of three engineers and one Senior Reactor Operator. This project saves an average of $500,000 for every reactor trip prevented. Designed the process and have implemented it at all three Dominion nuclear power stations.Accomplishment - Designed and operated a computer simulation to troubleshoot and eliminate an instrumentation scaling problem that had existed for ten years causing numerous Technical Specification LCO entries.Accomplishment – Re-designed the pressurizer spray valve electronic controllers to eliminate a legacy design flaw.
