I graduated from high school in 2009 and have credits from Spring Hill College and Jones County Junior College on my college transcript. I have been tutoring children, teens, and adults in a professional setting since 2018. Before that, I assisted classmates, friends, and family in an informal setting from elementary school into college. Now, my friends ask me to help with their children's schoolwork.I am doing what I love and getting a lot of satisfaction from it. The look on a person's face when they understand or improve on a difficult subject makes all my effort worth it. When my students succeed, I succeed. I like working with young adults, but I love working with children. A child's enthusiasm is phenomenal, and a properly motivated child works hard to reach a goal. I am determined to help all of my students reach their academic goals.I am proficient in reading comprehension, English, grammar, and math (pre-algebra, algebra 1, and geometry). I am knowledgeable enough to tutor science and social studies to K-8 level students. Also, I can assist in writing research papers on general topics in MLA format. In addition, I can tutor basic and intermediate Spanish to children and teens. Lastly, I have experience tutoring ESL students in conversational English.
