Collaborate with Tech Tree Root, a nonprofit, to establish a web app that enable users to swiftly apply to multiple hackathons and conferences, akin to the simplicity of the Common App, optimizing the application process.

• Worked in a team of 5 to develop “Duke Data Foundry” web app, using NextJS, FastAPI, and PostgreSQL, placed under Shibboleth authentication system. Containerized it using Docker for further development by the Duke Office of Information Technology.• Implemented a user-friendly portal enabling users to request and gain access to data sources based on their Duke NetID. Automated data aggregation for authorized Duke affiliated users, enhancing data accessibility.

• Researched wealth management to present with a group of other fellows and employees on how it connects to multiple sectors in the financial industry.•Partook in workshops and sessions about economics, finance and global markets as well as thescience of investing, prepared investment thesis on bank runs for final project.

• Assisted in the project “Forest Understory Flowers under Global Change” under the Duke Biology Department, playing a crucial role in the examination of understory ephemerals in the Duke Forest.• Analyzed and documented the causes and consequences of patterns observed in understory ephemerals, drawing comparisons to prior studies to discern the effects and patterns of global warming in specific areas

• Adapted curriculum and conducted educational sessions for middle school students, focusing on engineering concepts and human-centered design. Worked in collaboration with the Duke Biomedical Engineering department to make educational resources accessible and relatable to young learners.• Led weekly training sessions for 15+ students at the Durham Museum of Life and Science, educating them on energy conversion through circuits and imparting knowledge on product design implementation.
