I am a 2021 graduate of Chatfield Senior High School in Littleton, Colorado. In September 2023, I completed my Associate's of Science in Biology at Arapahoe Community College, and I have since continue my education at Colorado State University as a Zoology major. I've maintained an excellent GPA and academic record throughout my education, and I have always been incredibly academically driven -- timely and on top of my work, as well as taking on extra opportunities to further my education as much as possible.As well as being a student, from June 2019-Sept 2023 I worked with PAW School, a positive reinforcement based dog training facility in Denver, as one of the Front Desk Staff. I am passionate about animals and this job has given me real-world experience and education in the Animal Service Industry, as well as great insight and education in Animal Behavior.In 2020, I completed an internship with the Executive High School Internship program for Veterinary Medicine. This opportunity provided me real-world experience and Veterinary Medicine knowledge. It has not only expanded my knowledge on the world of Veterinary Medicine and working with animals, but also confirmed that it is a field I'm passionate about and would like to further my involvement in as much as possible. Particularly, I am working towards a career with wildlife conservation & biology.In my free time, I enjoy expressing my creative side through painting and drawing. I also enjoy spending time with my friends, family, and my dog. I've also recently taken-up crocheting, as I always like to keep my hands busy!I'm particularly skilled in technology. I know how to work and currently use Google, Microsoft, and other Microsoft-affiliated programs such as Excel. I also possess strong teamwork and communication skills that I utilize in everyday life as well as with my employer. I am a compassionate and empathetic individual, and always strive to create lasting and meaningful connections with my coworkers and friends.
