I’ve spent the last ten years of my professional career working for some of the top transactional law firms in the U.S., Ice Miller LLP in the Midwest and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati on the West Coast. As I immersed myself more in my career and began to build my book of business, I realized that clients selected legal counsel for the value they could bring to the client in addition to technical legal skills. I looked for ways to showcase my technical legal skills and drive value for clients. Through this process, I discovered the necessity of a resource that could easily allow me to better structure my deal-by-deal workflow and better prioritize the work I was doing to showcase the value I brought to transactions. Haley served as a partner in Ice Miller's Business Group. Haley concentrated her practice in corporate and securities law and in the representation of emerging growth companies and the venture capital firms and strategic investors that finance them.Her practice encompassed venture capital financing transactions, private placements, public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate representation. She regularly represented businesses in the life science and technology industries.Haley has represented emerging growth companies and venture capital firms and strategic investors in both the life sciences and high technology industries in venture capital financing transactions with aggregate gross proceeds ranging from $100,000 to $50 million. Since 2008, Haley has represented entrepreneurial companies and the venture capital firms that finance them in venture capital financing transactions totaling over $250 million. She has also represented both acquiring and selling companies in merger and acquisition transactions. Merger and acquisition transaction size for deals she has been involved in has ranged from less than $5 million to over $800 million, with the majority being between $25 -$50 million.Haley is licensed to practice law in the states of Indiana and California.
