I assisted public elementary school teachers in person and virtually with implementing math and reading curriculum. This included providing one-on-one support to students utilizing effective communication and positive reinforcement. In 2020, I adapted to tutoring virtually through problem solving technical difficulties as they arose and coordinated with teachers and students to create an engaging learning environment.

Contributed to a strong team dynamic, led on and off the field, positively represented the university and athletic program on campus and within the conference at an NCAA Division III institution. Served as a team captain for senior season.

Assisted in the preparation of laboratory materials for a wide range of biology courses to help provide students with the necessary tools and equipment to be successful in their labs.

In this position, I analyzed visual data from a behavioral complex environment experiment centered around neural plasticity in rats through exploring behavioral analysis software. In addition, I researched articles related to differential housing paradigms in order to better understand their effects on the brain and different analysis methods used for behavioral based experiments.

Actively took detailed, organized notes during Genetics lectures and timely uploaded them afterward in order to help students with learning disabilities succeed with course material

Worked as a camp coach for girls in 3rd-5th grade at a camp that focused on women mentorship and empowerment. Taught about 25-30 girls a week different sports, arts and crafts, as well as lessons on self love, empowerment, and friendship. Worked with kids to resolve conflicts. Effectively communicated with kids as well as parents and camp directors.

Refereed competitive and recreational youth soccer games. Worked to create a safe playing environment as well as resolve conflicts between players, coaches, and parents.
