Cash Management is responsible for gathering all cash transactions, checks written, deposits, incoming wires, and outgoing wires, from the Accounting and Land Departments, as well as the Human Resources Department. In addition, it includes ensuring a balanced account, forecasting and monitoring cash flow on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Cash Management also works very closely with the company’s plant accountants to gather and to transmit ACH payments to the banking institution for gas settlement payments, in a timely manner, to avoid any late penalties that may be assessed, pursuant to the company’s marketing contract terms and conditions.
