About Haley Dosenbach
As I move from one phase of life to the next, there seem to be a few words that have always described who I am to my core: Introspective. Calm. People-centered. From the moment I learned what marketing is (and what really great marketing COULD be), I knew I'd found a fit. And as a connector of people, a creative risk-taker, and a curious researcher, I could not be happier to have found a home at Eli Lilly where I get to flex my mental muscles on the science of our solutions while developing campaigns and materials that truly connect with our customers. Is this real life? Pinch me.

Book Publishing Intern
At IBJ, I was able to tailor my experiences to areas I aspired for additional growth while simultaneously supporting the publishing department. Because of this fluidity, I was able to edit entire book manuscripts, proof final copies before being sent to the printer, sit in on concept meetings with clients, sharpen my skills with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, and become exposed to the layout process.
Special Projects Editor
The Purdue Exponent was a daily, student-led paper from newsroom staff to advertising staff. Students were part-time who balanced their education with their professional role within the paper, often working late evenings and weekends to complete their work. As Special Projects Editor, I reported directly to the Editor-in-Chief, was responsible for managing multiple box stories and almost exclusively took and edited my own photos for the stories I wrote, the only staff reporter to do so. While I also served as a Features Editor for the publication and managed a team of students in that role, as Special Projects Editor, I was able to exercise my ability to professionally handle complex and divisive issues, such as race, religion, violence, and mental health as well as completely own a project from inception to completion.
Dean'S Ambassador For The College Of Liberal Arts
After an interview process, I was chosen to be one of a handful of people to become a Dean's Ambassador for the College of Liberal Arts at Purdue University. As a Dean's Ambassador, I become the face of the Liberal Arts program, hosting mini tours, speaking on panels and chatting with prospective students and their parents about the college. I was also chosen to be a blogger for the college. This small time commitment asks for two blogs a month over a variety of topics. I signed on to be a blogger to further my writing experience.
Intern
As an intern with InMiddlebury magazine, I am writing featured articles, assisting with page layout and scheduling and maintaining the magazine's social media presence.
Features Editor
In February of 2013, I joined the staff of The Exponent as a features writer. Doing so helped me learn more about the interviewing process, working with deadlines, and communicating efficiently with a variety of people. In the spring of 2013, I was asked to stay on the staff to help with the summer publication with only eight other individuals. Working with this elite group, I worked on my skills with Adobe InDesign, Blox TCMS, photo editing programs, pagination and time management. In the spring of 2014, I was elected as features editor for the Exponent. After taking this position, I was then asked to oversee both the features desk and the campus desk. My term ended in May of 2014.
Secretary
I was elected to the board as Secretary of the American Advertising Federation for the 2013 spring semester and included planning networking events for our members, and ensuring documentation of all meetings and decisions. My election was largely due to the experience I had with the National Student Advertising Competition that I was involved with from 2011-2012. Spring semester, I was asked to stay on as the secretary of the club for fall 2013-spring 2014.
Media Director
Epiphany Promotions, Inc. was company created by local Middlebury, Indiana, residents. They designed and organized their first road race (5k and 1 mile fun run) for the community on January 1, 2014 with all proceeds of that event benefiting the local food pantry. As the media director, I created and cultivated the company's social media presence as well as developed their website in time for their inaugural event.
Office Manager
I received on the job training in only 2 weeks and had a wide variety of duties. These included filtering all phone calls, handling salesmen, screening applicants, observing the interviewing process, handling all faxes, filing, timecards, pay checks, invoices and some training with receiving.
