I have a background in multiple intelligences for education and strive to use it any chance I get with my students. I have worked in education for 10+ years and love the 1-on-1 relationships I build with my students. Special education is where my heart is and I enjoy every opportunity I get to grow in my career.My philosophy on education is that all children can learn in the right time and space. The space that I provide must be safe for each of my students in order to grown educationally, socially and emotionally. It is key to get to know each student and what motivates them. Furthermore, building upon student assets in order to provide a conducive learning environment for each child is critical. I believe that with the right systems of support, tools, and relationship building not only will students learn, but they will thrive and therefore, be capable of great success."My philosophy of education is that all children are unique and must have a stimulating educational environment where they can grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. It is my desire to create this type of atmosphere where students can meet their full potential. I will provide a safe environment where students are invited to share their ideas and take risks."I believe that there are five essential elements that are conducive to learning. (1) The teacher's role is to act as a guide. (2) Students must have access to hands-on activities. (3) Students should be able to have choices and let their curiosity direct their learning. (4) Students need the opportunity to practice skills in a safe environment. (5) Technology must be incorporated into the school day."
