For the past five years, I have been a heavy equipment operator for the United States Navy Reserve. I have also acquired skills like archaeological research methods, artifact analysis, public speaking, GIS/spatial analysis, and advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office while I work a full-time job with the Tennessee Valley of Archaeological Research. It has taught me different skills, techniques, communication, teamwork, and so much more that I will benefit from. I compared findings from one site with archeological data from other sites to find similarities and differences. I adapted quickly to changing conditions in order to ensure successful completion of assignments. Collected artifacts made of stone, bone, metal, and other materials, placing them in bags and marking them to show where was found.
