Plans and implements effective strategies to recruit, retain and manage sponsor organizations and relationships to achieve established blood collection goals.Develops potential Sponsor leads. Educates Sponsor chairpersons and recruitment committees in organizational requirements. Provides ongoing support to Sponsors and implement appropriate special donor recruitment programs.Works in both Customer Relations and Sales roles.

1. Recruits volunteers and develops relationships with civic and religious organizations, schools andother community groups and individuals to maintain a strong, effective volunteer base for theagency. Recruitment and retention are to be done on a regular basis to ensure proper coverage ofvolunteer assignments.2. Coordinates ongoing and seasonal programs including Angel Tree Holiday Gift Program, Marchfor Meals, Days of Service and MOW for Pets, engaging regular volunteer base and communitygroups to accomplish program goals.3. Develops and executes ongoing effective total agency volunteer training programs andappreciation events with a focus on maintaining effective, long term volunteer relationships.4. Maintains accurate volunteer records including applications, liability waivers, background checks,and email and home addresses in compliance with agency requirements and provides appropriatevolunteer information to the agency staff. Background checks are performed on all volunteercandidates.5. Maintains regular communication with volunteers through mail, Email, and phone calls.6. Compiles and reports total agency volunteer data monthly.7. Fills in at the Senior Centers for the Center Managers when needed8. Provides leadership (along with the Assistant Director) for the Volunteer Leadership Committee.9. Develops new programs and opportunities for volunteer engagement with the Agency.10. Attends fairs and outreach events to recruit volunteers and represent the agency.11. Coordinates volunteer involvement in all aspects of agency fundraising events such astournaments, galas, etc. as directed.

-Worked under the Special Events Coordinator to handle donor relations -Organized aspects of the 27th annual A Meal To Remember Gala at the St. Regis Atlanta-included guest relations and the live and silent auction, helped to successfully bring in the 2nd largest donation total in event history-Worked with the development team,department heads, and the Executive Director to gather data and revise the 2015-2020 organization-wide strategic plan
