I am passionate about helping leaders identify their calling and pursue excellence in their work and their lives. I am a wife, mother, and proven leader with a gift for "listening others to life." I hold an undergraduate degree in Health Services Administration from the University of South Dakota; a master’s degree in Christian Leadership from Sioux Falls Seminary; and am a certified Gallup Strengths Coach. Creating spaces where people grow into the most effective, authentic and purposeful versions of themselves is one of the great joys of my life. I began my career in healthcare as an Administrator in 2002. In my early career I provided operational and spiritual leadership to multi-level senior care campuses for over seven years. By 2006, my team and I were providing leadership and ministry to the highest-performing location in our organization. In 2008, I embraced an opportunity overseeing development of new programs and services for the organization and leading operations for emerging service lines called Home and Community-Based Services and LivingWell@Home. From 2011-2017, I served the Society in various roles related to the development and cultivation of donor relationships and employee talent. Primary focuses were on community facilitation; leadership development programs; employee engagement; and the Administrator-In-Training Program, which prepares newly hired long-term care administrator prospects for licensure and placement in this field.In 2017, after 15 years with the Good Samaritan Society, I answered a call to focus solely on my skills as an executive coach and talent strategist. In April 2017 I founded Haley Samuelson Coaching. I partner with executives, leaders and teams to help them identify their greatest personal and organizational opportunities for excellence; and show them how to capitalize on these opportunities. I feel blessed every day to be allowed into the unique, sacred stories of each person or organization.
