I am teaching weekly recitation classes for an Introduction to Chemistry course. I go over a set of problems with my students every week and provide feedback on the problems. I also provide clarification on chemistry concepts and offer helpful approaches to chemistry problems. I taught one recitation class last semester and am teaching two this semester.

I seated customers as they entered the restaurant. I also was responsible for taking reservations as well as setting up tables for those reservations. When I was not doing these tasks, I helped to run food to tables, roll silverware, and keep the restaurant clean.

I held a seasonal position at the Christmas/Easter set at Northlake Mall. My main position was to greet families and take down the names of the children in such a way that Santa knew how to call the children by their names, as well as provide information about the photo packages and to answer any questions. As we rotated positions daily, I also had experience taking photographs, working the cash register, and helping the children on Santa's lap. I also helped to retrieve merchandise from the storage room, walk Santa or the Easter Bunny back and forth to their dressing room, fetch water for Santa or the Easter Bunny, and keep the set clean and looking nice.

I worked at a week-long day camp for three consecutive summers. I was assigned a group of elementary school children and took them around to different activities throughout the day. These activities encouraged them to be involved in science, and they used innovation to create their own "inventions." I encouraged their creativity, helped them work on their projects as well as keep up with their physical needs throughout the day.
