As the management intern for the Shenandoah Valley Music Festival, I worked closely with artists and their managers and subsequently became very familiar with their contracts. I also helped to run the box office on nights of shows. This included general customers service skills, such as selling tickets and keeping customers happy, as well as closing the box office at the end of the night. I worked closely with sensitive information such as patron credit card information and artists' contracts. I also performed general secretarial duties such as filing, entering data into excel documents, and answering the telephone. Among other things, I aided in the design of promotional flyers and marketing.
