Dedicated local Long-term Services and Supports (LTSS) subject matter expert helping lead the transformation of Indiana Medicaid LTSS delivery system by supporting providers, with special attention to new HCBS and NF providers, for upcoming MLTSS program implementation through engagement, contracting, training, and readiness• Brings a personal, hands-on approach to provider relations through enhanced communication, building long-standing relationships and development, expansion of, and enhancement of the network• Responsible for designing and implementing provider engagement plan and strategy, developing provider communication materials, providing ongoing tailored provider training, conducting routine site visits, assisting providers with meeting contractual and compliance requirements, and promoting utilization of value-based programs• Engages and works collaboratively with state agencies and provider associations, as well as other Managed Care Entities to simplify and streamline processes for LTSS providers from contracting, credentialing, and onboarding to ongoing assistance with Care and Service Coordination, scheduling, and claims billing and payment

Accomplishments: Increased facility census year over year by 48. Increased facility occupancy from 50% - 82% occupancy. Ranked #1 out of 28 communities in multiple census challenges coordinated by regional support team.Managed internal admissions and marketing department to include but not limited to the referral and admission process between the hospital, family, and facility leadership team. Directed weekly marketing meetings with leadership and regional support team to discuss current efforts and activity as well as upcoming events. Reviewed census activity, budget goals, and admission and discharge trends. Educated patients and/or families regarding regulatory compliance and insurance providers such as Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurances.

Acted as the assistive hand to Inpatient Speech/Language, Occupational, and Physical Therapy Departments for a wide array of needs. Responsibilities include providing direct patient care during therapeutic intervention, assisting with patient transfers and transport, process intake of all new patient orders, and assign therapists' patient caseloads. Additional responsibilities include verifying accuracy of medical billing for therapeutic interventions, routine maintenance and inventory checks of departmental equipment and supplies, and participating in quality improvement efforts.
