For about three years, I worked with several students in areas of math, science, and history to improve grades and help students gain a better understanding of topics. I also helped organize and create file systems so the students could better stay on top of class and projects.

During my senior year of high school, I worked with Sage Canyon as a teacher's assistant in order to develop a better understanding of the educational field. During this time, I was deciding which career I wanted to pursue in college and decided this would be an excellent opportunity to see how being a teacher worked. I assisted the teacher in creating lesson plans, graded tests and projects, taught some topics to the classroom, and helped students who were struggling.
