As a dedicated civil engineering student with hands-on experience through multiple internships, I am passionate about learning how to design structures that contribute to a safer, more efficient community. My experience spans a range of projects, from concrete and steel design to traffic engineering, allowing me to approach challenges with a diverse skill set and a strong foundation in industry-standard software such as Bluebeam, Revit, and Enercalc.In addition to my professional experience, I led a team of students in the Timber Strong Tie Competition put on by the American Society of Civil Engineers. Our ASU team successfully designed a two-story wood building and competed in the southwest competition. This experience strengthened my leadership and technical skills, as well as my ability to manage and collaborate within a team.Looking ahead, I plan to further my education by pursuing a master’s degree in structural engineering starting January 2025. I am particularly interested in learning design techniques that promote sustainable building practices. I am committed to continuing my development as an engineer and contributing to meaningful projects that shape our built environment.
