I’m a senior at UC Berkeley majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Sustainable Food Systems. Over the past year, I immersed myself in Mediterranean food systems, living in Barcelona, Florence, Sicily, and Istanbul as part of a year-long study program. I had the opportunity to visit farms and sustainable businesses across these regions, gaining firsthand experience with ethical food practices and supply chains.At UC Berkeley, I’ve honed my academic understanding of sustainability, while my time abroad allowed me to see the impact of these practices in real-world settings. This unique combination of rigorous academics, field research, and practical exposure has shaped my approach to food systems, emphasizing sustainability, regionality, and responsible business practices.Additionally, I bring ecommerce and email marketing experience, having worked with a sustainable clothing company, where I learned how to communicate value and drive engagement for eco-conscious brands. I’m passionate about using my diverse experiences to drive innovation and sustainability in the food industry.
