Accounting Supervisor
Current- Completes monthly, quarterly, & yearly financial deliverables and needed tasks to report financials as well as to report data to internal management and parent company.Examples of (3) deliverables listed below:1. Journal entries and account reconciliations for accuracy of both income statement and balance sheet accounts. 2. Financial analysis comparing current period to prior year and budget with explanations of differences.3. Monthly forecast.- Manage one direct report as well as assisting with overseeing all accounting staff and verifying compliance with GAAP, laws and regulations, and parent company standard practice instructions as well as ensuring deadlines for deliverables met.- Manage various software related process improvement projects across multiple departments to ensure forward progress including being the liaison between business unit and consultancy to ensure desired outcome in ERP or other software.
