Failed project after failed project helped me realize that I am still a beginner at making music. However, it never stopped me from doing what I loved and working to become better. Every project is like an experiment that yields a potential masterpiece. Yet, the only way to obtain that masterpiece is to learn, and I am not afraid to do so.I loved music all of my life. I have never been the very best at it. But it was the passion and enthusiasm that fueled my motivation. In high school, I joined the school band (despite not knowing how to play an instrument), but it was something I was willing to try. I learned how to play the tenor saxophone and performed with the whole band during our first concert (and the many after).Since 2020, I've been learning how to produce, mix, and master music. I realized that my dream was to become an artist or even a producer. As of now, my skills are at a beginner's level. At first I taught myself how to do the basics then I was able to expand my knowledge in college.I took a few music classes:- Foundations in Music- Introduction to Music- Introduction to Digital Recording TechnologyThey helped me solidify what I already knew and taught me more technical parts of music. But still, there is more room for improvement and to learn.Although I work as a Barista now, I hope to obtain experience in the music industry or even a job that could help me achieve my dream (or just support it). I may not be the most experienced person but I am an ambitious one.
